B-grade natural lamb casing Ø 18 mm 15 m
B-grade product due to best before date 05/2026Ideal for making homemade sausages. The airtight package contains 15 m of lamb casings (some in sections). Suitable for making very fine sausages such as bratwurst (Wernberger/Nürnberger) and grilled sausages. Approximately 4.6 m of casings are needed for 1 kg of sausage filling (depending on the thickness of the meat pieces and the consistency of the filling). Instructions: Soak the casings in water at approximately 30°C for about 30 minutes before use. Storage: Store at room temperature, in a dry place, and away from sunlight before opening. Refrigeration is best, as it extends the casings' shelf life. After opening, we recommend storing the casings at a temperature of 4–14°C, preferably salted, in the refrigerator. Any unused casings can easily be frozen and used for future production. Do not refreeze after thawing!
