The valve is designed as a 3/2-way changeover valve. In the neutral position, connection P is connected to connection A~ when energized, connection P is connected to connection B. The control magnet can be supplied for different operating voltages. Small internal leaks are permitted because the valve is designed as a slide valve. A magnetic plug (FAIE No. 28483) can optionally be supplied. The valve can be used in all common hydraulic systems. The 6/2-way valve is suitable for expanding a double-acting hydraulic function. e.g. for front loaders to operate the front loader bucket and to open and close the silo bale gripper via 1 control valve. Without current, the oil flows from ports P1 and P2 to ports C and D. If the magnet is energized, the oil flow is diverted from ports P1 and P2 to the additional consumers A and B. This valve can be used as a universal valve and can can be expanded directly with the same valve. Small internal leaks are permitted because the valve is designed as a slide valve.

The switch-on relay separates the working current from the switching current. This means that large working currents can be switched with relatively small control circuit currents. There is no direct contact between the control and working groups.
