Artgerechte Kaninchen Haltung mit Buddelsand von Schicker Mineral Kaninchen und Hasen lieben es zu graben. Deshalb darf eine Buddelkiste im Stall oder Gehege nicht fehlen. Unser lockerer Buddelsand aus deutscher Produktion unterstützt das natürliche Buddel Bedürfnis deiner Nager. Das Buddeln baut zum einen Stress ab und verbessert so auch das Zusammenleben mit den Artgenossen. Zum anderen dient das Wälzen im Sand der Fellpflege und beugt Parasitenbefall vor. Dank der abgerundeten Kanten der einzelnen Sandkörner, ist der Buddelsand angenehm für die Kaninchenpfoten. Unser Buddelsand wird trocken bis leicht feucht geliefert. Für bessere Formbarkeit und Grabfähigkeit kannst du den Sand mit einer Sprühflasche leicht mit Wasser anfeuchten. Anwendungshinweis Befreie den Sand mehrmals pro Woche von Verschmutzungen wie Stroh, Heu oder Futterresten. Je nach Nutzungsintensität empfiehlt sich der komplette Austausch des Sandes alle paar Wochen. Unsere 25 kg Säcke enthalten, je nach Größe der Sandbox, genug Sand für mehrere Sandwechsel. Manche Kaninchen oder Hasen verwenden die Buddelkiste auch als Toilette. Sollten deine Tiere die Sandkiste zweckentfremden, versuche die Kiste im Gehege nicht an den Rand oder in eine Ecke zu platzieren, sondern freistehend. Wie viel Sand brauche ich für meine Buddelkiste? Die Sandmenge variiert je nach Größe der Kiste und gewünschter Füllhöhe. Damit deine Nager ordentlich graben können, sollte die Kiste mindestens 5 cm hoch befüllt werden.
