These filter sheets measuring 20 × 10 cm are designed for graded filtration of wine and must and are suitable for Pulcino wine and must filters. Six filtration grades from 45 µm to 0.25 µm are available for different filtration stages. Advantages & Functions • 6 filtration grades – suitable for coarse to fine filtration • 20 × 10 cm – suitable for Pulcino wine and must filters • 10-pack – multiple filtration cycles with selectable filter grades Which filter should be used when? • No. 00 – 45 µm: Coarse and pre-filtration of must, oil and liquids containing large particles • No. 0 – 25 µm: Initial clarification of cloudy wine or must after fermentation • No. 4 – 10 µm: Coarse filtration of pre-clarified liquids • No. 8 – 3 µm: Fine clarification for removing fine suspended particles • No. 16 – 0.9 µm: Polishing filtration and substantial yeast cell retention • No. 24 – 0.25 µm: Sterile filtration before bottling for retention of bacteria and yeast Frequently Asked Questions Which filter grade is suitable for initial filtration? For heavily cloudy liquids, No. 00 at 45 µm or No. 0 at 25 µm is suitable. Which filter sheet is suitable for fine clarification? No. 8 at 3 µm is designed for fine clarification of pre-clarified liquids. Which filter sheet is used before bottling? No. 24 at 0.25 µm is designed for sterile filtration before bottling. Used filter sheets should be disposed of in residual or household waste after filtration.
