The authors
Helga Bültermann-Igler studied biology. In 1985 she took over the family trout farm from her father Kurt Igler. Today, the family can look back on over 100 years of experience in breeding salmonids - and is widely known for its healthy fingerlings and exquisite edible fish.
Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Licek worked at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, specializing in fish and bee diseases. She is an officially sworn and court-certified expert for fish (keeping, breeding and trade), in particular the diagnosis of fish diseases.
