The size 6 eel leader with 0.30 mm line was specially developed for targeted eel fishing.
With its slightly smaller, yet still strong hook, it is ideal for wary eels that prefer finer baits – such as earthworms, pieces of fish, or liver.
The 0.30 mm monofilament line offers high abrasion resistance and a breaking strain of approximately 7–8 kg – perfect for bottom rigs around obstacles, rocks, or roots.
The pre-tied size 6 hook sets cleanly and reliably, even with deeper bites.
Thanks to the pre-tied knot, the leader is ready to use immediately – simply tie it to the main line, add your bait, and you're ready to go.
The steel alloy used contains a very high carbon content.
This makes the hooks extremely robust, yet lightweight, resistant to bending, and also prevents breakage under stress.
The hook points are sharpened in different ways depending on the type to achieve long-lasting durability and an extremely high degree of sharpness.
They penetrate the fish's mouth easily and are then securely anchored.
