Pawing and pecking is a naturally motivated behavior of laying hens and other poultry. With this mineral stone the animals can pursue this instinct. Aggressive behavior towards other species (e.g. feather pecking) can be reduced and the animals are kept positively occupied.
In addition, the beaks are naturally worn down and the hens are supplied with minerals and trace elements.
Ingredients (in %): 21.0 calcium, ~ 4.5 Phosphorus, ~ 6.0 sodium, ~ 2.5 Magnesium
Additives per kg: 600 mg zinc (E 6) as zinc oxide, 480 mg manganese (E 5) as manganese (II) oxide, 90 mg copper (E 4) as copper (II) sulfate Pentahydrate, 12 mg iodine (3b202) as calcium iodate anhydrous, 50 mg selenium (E 8) as sodium selenite
